I'm a newbie here. Just wondering.. can I appoint a lawyer to represent me in eveyrthing such as:
1)Checking all the outstanding interest (any interest) , utilities bill, maintenance charges or in short , all the owings attached to the auction property?
2)Attend the auction and do the bidding on my behalf?
3)Prepare all the necessary legal document eg. MOT, loan document and ect,,
4) If all the answer for the ebove are YES, then do u guys have any idea how much is the LAWYER'S FEE?...
I'm thinking to sit and relax and let the Lawyer do EVERYTHING. What I know is that I will receive the property without any problem at all. Hope to get some feedback from all the experts here..

Hi Maazmin, nice to know u... As for ur questions, I normally see lawyers doing task 2 and 3, since they can charge u for these 2 items under their standard professional fee. As for item 1, i dunno how much they charge, and i dun think they are willing to do that unless u r a regular client. anyway, it's just my opinion!~

Yes, you can appoint a lawyer to do all that for you but technically they won't do item 1. They will write to the developer for his consent to auction off the property. When the developer gives his consent, he will normally state all outstanding charges in his letter. You can just call the lawyer up and enquire about the outstanding bills.
